We called about a pool line repair and we had someone come out right away and were very pleased at first. We were told it would be a two-person job and the next day one person showed up and after an hour of working on one section, and making it worse, they said they couldn't do it on their own, and that two people would come back the next day. Nobody showed up the next day and no phone call. I called the following morning and the lovely lady said we were on the schedule for the day. Again nobody showed up. Another day, another call.. same response, no show. 5 days later.. with promises of another call, we finally get a message saying that they can't come because someone called in sick. I absolutely appreciated the phone call but when I called and talked to the owner, he was rude saying, "don't you know it's a global pandemic?" Working in the customer service industry myself, long hours since March, I completely understand this, but also understand the value of a phone call to a potential customer to say, "sorry, we can't come today". Takes a minute. We have now lost one week. We are all busy, but it takes a minute to make a phone call.
