Great help in choosing product from Karen at Whitby store. Installers were excellent, no mess, explained everything, noticed a small defect, ordered replacement. Even put back the eavestrough blown down by wind! Highly recommend Classic Fireplace.

Absolutely the best service and quality around! I couldn't be happier with every step of my interaction with Classic. Started this process knowing nothing about a gas insert and right away the staff were incredible. Met with Terry on the showroom floor who explained the process and options. Next Josh came to the house and gave a quote specific to our unique gas fitting situation. Within 2 weeks, Steve and Rick were at the house installing our new unit. Professional, friendly and clean! These guys appreciate quality work and it shows in the job that they do. Babz even makes invoicing painless. I wish I hadn't waited so long! I would definitely recommend Classic Fireplace.

Professional and custom solution to my heating problems. Everyone I dealt with from the very beginning to the end was professional and knowledgeable and really listened to my unique situation. I desperately needed heat on my main floor and if possible even on the floor directly above it, and they devised a custom solution that solved both. Doesn't hurt that they made it look amazing too. Can't say enough good things about these guys... And I don't normally we write reviews.

I am impressed with the CLASS in Classic Fireplace, from owner Josh to salesman Bruce to technical wizard Stephen. My 1940's home is now toasty warm with a glowing fire for great ambiance. They are genuine, professional and patient with their clients. After the install I was disappointed with the flame so Stephen was dispatched. I appreciated the follow through. These units come 'factory ready'. Commendations to Stephen for going above and beyond (even contacting the B.C. engineers who make the product) and a few simple teaks to the air flow and voila
I have a great orange flame. Score number one in customer service.

We moved and purchased two new gas fireplaces from Classic. Josh, Edward, Babz and both install crews were fantastic. This is our second time purchasing from them. They are pros. We could not be more pleased!

I am writing this review to comment on excellent service I received from Josh Malcom from Classic Fireplace in Scarborough.
Josh's knowledge and expertise helped in completing the retrofit of my fireplace successfully. From all the people I contacted, he was the only one who provided me with recommendations.
By following his sound advice and choosing a smaller stove more appropriate for my space, I saved a few hundred dollars. This savings I put towards insulating the newly installed liner which improved chimney draft.
All the appointments were on time and work was done in clean manner.
I would also like to thank Babz from the office who was very professional in arranging all appointments, payments and providing all necessary documentation .

We found Classic Fireplace because we wanted a Stuv stove and needed a city permit. Bruce and Josh were outstanding. Not only for providing design advice and excellent communication, but for stick handling the very complicated city permit system. There are few companies that we've worked with that have gone so far above and beyond as these two guys did. There are others that carry the Stuv brand, but Classic Fireplace is the best.

Our blower died on our gas fireplace and the pilot light blew out as well.
I called and spoke with Dave who arranged for Zach to come out the next day. He wisely took the manufacturer and serial numbers in advance so that the correct part could be exchanged during the service call. Zach was on time, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I have had a fireplace maintenance plan with Direct Energy for a few years now but have cancelled the service and will be using Classic Fireplace from now on for my yearly fireplace service call. Not only was the fireplace cleaned but the lava rocks were replaced, rock wool was used for the first time (nice effect!), and the logs were put back in the correct arrangement ( previous servicing had them in the wrong placement). Of course the blower was replaced and we are back to enjoying a warm and cozy fire. Thank you very much! I will be recommending Classic Fireplace to all my friends

I just wanted to say thanks to you for our new gas fireplace. The visit you made to our place and the advice you gave us on the sizing and model worked out perfectly. Your crew were very professional and a pleasure to have at the house. I also had an opportunity to go up on the roof and inspect the masonry chimney with the installer. The advice he gave me on a cap for the concrete top helped me eliminate a small leak we had lived with for years.

I've finished the drywalling, lighting, trim and painting. Your crew had positioned the unit perfectly so the remaining work was pretty straightforward.

Here is a picture of the finished product. The room is so much nicer than before, and we are enjoying the convenience of instant on heat.

We are absolutely satisfied with our purchase experience.

Fantastic buying experience! From the moment we walked in, Classic Fireplace took the time to understand our needs and then find the fireplace that best suits us and reflects our personal tastes. The installation team was friendly and professional and they made sure to show me how to use it and take care of it. Lastly, thanks for the phone call to make sure we are happy and everything is working well. My wife and I are very happy to put this finishing touch in our basement. It looks great!!!
