Try to avoid dealing with them. There are better business out there, who would not only make you pay, but also will deliver a good service and leave you satisfied.

Company Response

We provided a quick response to a potential disaster in this home ,providing the best for our customers all the time with full accountability.
Its unfortunate that Igor and Lila feel this way , Feb 2 2015 we got a call from Lila very distraught and did not Know how to shut off the water to the house as it was spraying out of there water heater, to add to the stress Igor (husband ) was in toronto . After trying over the phone to talk Lila through shutting off the water to the house ( unsuccessful ) I immediately sent one of my techs to there house (Note he was already doing another job for someone else ) The tech arrived at 8:17 am . He immediately shut off the water to the house and was asked to drain the water heater so no further water would be leaking while Lila was at work. Tech noted that the house water regulator had fail ( causing a high water pressure issue in the home ) In addition to this the water heater was 19 years old and should be replaced . He billed for one hour and left house at 9:22 am . No one was home in the house till later that afternoon , Lila wanted to wait till Igor got home to make a decision about the water heater replacement . Igor got home and called another company to the house and repaired water regulator , and returned later and replaced water heater .
I had a discussion with Igor two weeks later , He felt that we should return the cost of the hour we spent in his home . I explained to him the reasonable expectation of payment when you provide service . And further explained that Its a standard procedure to credit the service call when we install a new water heater .
Note : water heaters have a expected life of no more that 12 years
Most insurance companies encourage people to replace the heater after warranty has expired ( 8 years )
