Great job

This company does amazing work. We received two estimates and Sandover Floors was less by more than half the other companies price. The higher priced company actually said they couldn’t remove our pet stains and would have to replace the wood, hence the high price. We are more than happy with the finished product and can honestly say these guys were quick, efficient, tidy and friendly and we can’t wait to give them the great acknowledgment they deserve. Thanks again, we highly highly recommend Sandover.

New floor.

First rate installation of our hardwood floor. Excellent workmanship throughout. What little flooring we had was nicely stripped and everything stained to match. It's perfect. We will ask the guys to come back to lay the kitchen floor next.

BRANDS
Sandover Floors is pleased to offer the following floor types: SOLID HARDWOOD (Single Layer Hardwood) As the most recognizable type of hardwood floors, single layer flooring planks are made of 100 per cent solid wood and can be sold as either pre-finished or unfinished. The most common thickness for solid hardwood is ¾ of an inch. ENGINEERED FLOOR (Multi Layer Hardwood) Unlike solid hardwood, engineered hardwood flooring will not expand or contract with moisture. It can be installed above or below grade and can be glued onto concrete, an existing floor, or a sub-floor with radiant heat. Its superior strength and resistance make it a great choice for condos, basements and commercial spaces. Multi-layered hardwood flooring is generally made of three to five layers of hardwood glued onto a plywood base. LAMINATE FLOOR(Floating Floors) Replicate the look of wood with laminate, an economical installation composed of an artificial laminated plank. Laminate floors are more resistant to scratching than traditional hardwood flooring and will not fade under UV light. As they are not fastened to the sub-floor, installing laminate is fast and easy. SPECIALITIES
Sandover Floors recommends you use the following tips to maintain your hardwood floors: Don’t Damp Mop - Water and wood floors don’t mix! Use only manufacturer’s recommended cleaning products on your hardwood floor. Vacuum Regularly – Small stones, mud and gritty dirt tracked in from outside can play havoc on the wood floors finish. To help combat this, use long bristle welcome mats placed at all outside entrances for people to wipe their feet on before entering onto the floors. Also, vacuum using a soft bristle brush. Use The Proper Chair Glides – Narrow wheels and sharp wooden or metal furniture legs can scratch and dent hardwood flooring, which can quickly turn a newly refinished floor into an old worn floor. Any furniture that rests directly on top of a hardwood floor should have felt protectors, or furniture coasters under all its feet. For extremely heavy objects such as a piano, use rubber cups. Don’t Use Oil Soaps – There are many over the counter oil based soaps that can damage or dull the finish of your hardwood floor. The best suggestion is to only use the manufacturer’s recommended cleaning products on your hardwood flooring. Never Wax A Urethane Floor – If you have a polyurethane finish on your hardwood floors you should never apply a wax. The wax may leave a sticky film on your floor, which will attract and hold dirt. Always use the manufacturer’s recommended polishes and cleaners.
