As others have shared, Luis demands a significant deposit prior to starting the job, and then takes long to come back to do the job. In our case it took him a month to come back after many calls and text messages - this caused our reno to be delayed unessesarily. The job was done by young kids that left a terrible job behind. After bringing this to Luis's attention he became hostile and refused to come back to repair his job, after being paid. Crooked spindles, rough cuts on the wood, and no attention to detail whatsoever, wobbly railing. We had to get a professional to come repair his job.
Do not pay him any deposit or any money until the job is properly done, or you will regret it!
