hank you for your review. We understand your position but we would like to share the facts regarding your order as we do not agree with the facts you stated.
In our opinion, the facts were as follow:
We were scheduled to install the windows and doors the week of July 18th to the 22nd.
Unfortunately, due to a rare mishap with our wood window and door supplier, we couldn't install the windows until the end of the week.
However, we made the necessary arrangements and we managed to finish the entire installation on July 23rd, which was one day late than expected and a Saturday (a day usually off but what mattered to us was not to overstep on your following week and schedule).
Once we reached the very last window, our installer ran out of the specialty trim, which we special ordered 16 feet of right away to finish the job properly.
As soon the specialty trim came in, we scheduled the installation with you for August 5th.
On the scheduled date, our installer came to finish the last 2 pieces of trim by first placing a drop cloth below the window underneath your radiator (which is a step we always do in installations).
That is when he noticed within a minute that the cloth was wet under the radiator and he brought the leak to your attention. He had not started any work nor had he touched the radiator.
A week post-installation, we contacted you for the final payment of 23,851.59$ and you informed us that you wanted 2,000$ in credit for the delay with the trim and installation.
Followed ten minutes later by another call from you, requesting 3,000$ instead stating we damaged the radiator. You also let us know that if we were not to decrease your invoice by 3,000$, you would give us a bad review.
As stated, we cannot guarantee the time frame of any installation. Depending on the job, the length can be longer or shorter depending on many factors (weather, access to job site, other trades, mistakes, etc).
We will always do our best to provide our clients the experience they wish to have with us and take responsibility for any case we're at fault. In your order, we would have absolutely been taking responsibility had we damaged your radiator or had we promised a fixed date installation.
