Appliances for a new hourse

I purchased set of 5 appliances from Billa Appliances, 3 months before the closing date for my house. 6 weeks before the closing date, I changed my fridge selection from Electrolux to Samsung.

Day before the closing, I received phone call from Billa Appliances informing me that my fridge is out of stock and I won't be getting it tomorrow. I asked when am I going to get it and was told that they need to call Samsung on Monday(conversation was on Friday). Keep in mind that this is for the fridge, which was ordered 6 weeks ago.

Its been 2 weeks since the closing date and still no sign of the fridge. I called Billa Appliances few times and was told to stop calling, they will call me ...

It looks like they gets shipments every few weeks, perhaps to save freight costs and if your order didn't make it to the last shipment you will have to wait until next batch, which might be weeks away. In the mean time, you will live without fridge or stove ...

Now, I appreciate that every company has its own ways to cut costs and thats probably how they can afford to keep prices so low. However, I really don't like that they didn't inform me about "out of stock" situation well in advance, so that I can make an informed decision. This is really dishonest.

Do yourself a favor and buy appliances some there else.
