Had an AC installed on Easter Monday. Told them we had to be gone early afternoon. Not only did they accommodate, they had to troubleshoot the existing thermostat.

Work was great, completely sealed the housing exterior where the piping went in and cleaned up after themselves. Would recommend. Thanks Ved and Kelly!

My 20 year old furnace required replacement and I got two quotes. They were very similar, but I went with A1 Chesney, and was very happy with the result. The technician took it upon himself to look around my basement and came up came up with a much better way to vent the furnace. The furnace inspector just left and complimented the work that was done.

Ryley and his co-worker as well as the electrician arrived on schedule and performed their work in a well coordinated and efficient manner. Very customer orientated and professional work ethic and always willing to listen to the clients concerns and input. Even though there were some very difficult challenges in completing some of the work they persevered and the end product turned out better than I could have expected. Equipment is excellent quality and appears to meet and exceed expectations. Would highly recommend this company and product.

Cost estimator was knowledgeable and helpful. Filled out all forms and agreed on price and timing of job. A few days before job was supposed to start I was told they had someone leave the company so had to delay the work until someone else was hired. Didnt hear anything for over a month so had to ask the status. Was informed they could no longer complete the furnace/ac installation. Very disappointed in this service as they obviously are not reliable and wasted my time, even as a designated Costco contractor. Would not recommend them despite other good reviews.

I had a problem with my furnace and called A1. They showed up on time but couldn't fix the problem. The technician had no idea what could be causing the problem. All he wanted to do is sell me a new furnace. In the end I did order a new furnace but not through A1. The furnace was only 15 years old.

Craig, Rob & Noah had a difficult new install, but they worked through it and the job was completed professional. The crew was great to work with and did a great job.

Have been dealing with A1-Chesney for many years and have a lot of confidence in their service and reputation. Recently had them replace our old water heater and furnace. For the water heater, was interested in switching to a tankless, and Phil from A1-Chesney was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the plumbing modifications which would need to be made to accommodate a tankless. Decided to go with it on the Advantage Program. As for the furnace, Anna from A1-Chesney was most helpful and always readily available to answer my questions. Installation of the tankless water heater was done by Phil and Rahim, while Abdul and Joe installed the new furnace a week later. All arrived promptly and were professional, competent and efficient. All in all, very satisfied.

I signed up for Service Plus, and they had a technician come out to do a furnace and air conditioner maintenance. The technician was great, he was on time, friendly, professional, and did a very thorough job of inspecting and cleaning the furnace and the air conditioner, and testing to make sure I had good air flow in the house. I definitely recommend this company.

Our air conditioner broke down. I phoned A1 Chesney for a service appointment, and was told there would be a 115.00 fee for the repairman to come to my home. This fee would be applied to any repairs that were done. Repairman came to my home, looked at the broken air conditioner, and told me straight out that he can't know exactly the issue without "taking a tool to it." If he was "to take a tool to it," it would cost me upwards of 800.00 because the refridgerant was no longer used and illegal. He did not recommend that.
Not going to happen, but I still had to pay him 131.25 for him just to come tell me that. Chesney could have easily warned me that if we had a unit that used refrigerant that is no longer in use, that the repairman would not even bother to diagnose it. Not only would this have saved them a trip (he brought a salesperson with him on a repair call, seems suspect to me), it would have saved me what was a $131.25 charge for absolutely nothing. A charge to tell me that "I can't even put a tool to it." Seems to me, a quick cellphone photo of the side of my air conditioner could have given them the info they needed to know that they could not touch it. The repairman told me that this was a common problem, that the refridgerant was illegal but was still being installed up until last year... another indicator that they could have forewarned me about this.
I was told that I might as well buy a new air conditioner and I should probably get a new furnace as well to "save money," as mine was old and too big for our house anyway.

A search on youtube afterwards showed me that one of the most common problems with air conditioners is the capacitor crapping out. So my husband discovered that that in fact was the problem. We bought a new one today for 40 dollars and some change.
I guess I can thank A1 Chesney for motivating us to research our problem a little more and saving us thousands of dollars on a new air conditioner, or renting one from them for 115 a month every month for the year, despite using it only 3 months of that year. (If we are lucky to have a warm summer in said year). What a screaming deal A1 Chesney!

I will not & would NEVER recommend, or use A1 Chesney for anything, ever. Shame on Chesney. I regret phoning you, and you really make me ashamed for trusting you.

I bought a new home and Service Experts was the furnace installer. The PVC that connects ventilation to the outside was cut and the plastic fillings had eventually settled into the furnace, (confirmed by two independent furnace specialists). It then caused multiple error readings (low press switch?) over time and, most recently, system failure in the middle of the night due to draining blockage. I would not normally report this 1 issue however, prior to this we had issues when the house was brand new, (under warranty) that were also not handled well. The humidifier was never hooked up. When I called it in afterwards I was asked for $150. (1 year after installation) In light of these multiple concerns I felt it appropriate to bring attention after the latest severe occurrence. Additionally, after I left a review on Google, I was promptly told to give them a call directly and leave a message, which I did. It took 3 months to hear back from them. POOR INSTALL, POOR HOME SERVICE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
