We hired Student Works to paint our new fence and deck, and they came and completed the work. However, after less than one season the paint was peeling off the deck. It seemed as if the wrong product may have been used.
When I contacted the company to redeem the warranty, they were initially unresponsive. However, they did eventually return to our home and redo the job for free.
Based on this experience, I would say that Student Works does stand by their warranty and tries to ensure customer satisfaction.

Sorry to hear about your experience. As you can see from most of our reviews, our customers tend to be very satisfied. We have clearly failed in this case. Apologies again. There is no excuse for the lack of communication. Martin is still a Student Works person and has agreed to repaint your deck over the next two weeks. As with most painting companies decks are NOT covered by our Three Year Warranty, and we make this clear. Having said that, we've been in business for 25 years and pride ourselves on going above and beyond to honour warranty. Regardless of what is not covered under our warranty program, even a deck or stairs should not fail within a year. Rest assured, we will investigate why it failed and fix it.
