After several quotes by other electricians, I settled on Peter from Sigma Electric for an extensive rewiring in my house. Initially, he impressed me as being personable, honest and knowledgable. Peter delivered on his promise and did an excellent, thorough job on the rewiring. He came punctually each day, worked through with hardly a break and got the job finished within the promised time and the price quoted. As well, he was a most pleasant and professional person to have around - you felt in good hands with him. I will have him back for future jobs, and would highly recommend him to anyone. J. We needed to rewire some outlets from the panel. This is not a huge job and we were worried nobody would be interested to come out and do it for us. But Peter answered the phone when I called him and agreed to come out to do the work for us. Peter was punctual and thorough in his work. The charge was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Peter from Sigma did a fantastic job removing knob and tube wiring from parts of our main floor and all of the second floor as well as installing a new panel. Because we were replacing our the old hardwood flooring on the second level, he was able to go through the floors to reach the ground level. As a result there was no damage to our plaster walls. In fact, Peter cut only one hole in the ceiling of the closet where the panel was located to get the wires from the attic to the panel. Peter was not easily put off by the challenges our house presented. He took his time to find the best solution to minimize damage rather than the quickest, easiest one. He and his helper Caz were punctual, dedicated, patient with my endless questions, and extremely hard-working. They began the job promptly and finished it in two weeks. I would not hesitate in recommending Sigma to anyone who needs wiring expertise. I jokingly began referred to Peter as an electrical 'genius' but, in fact, I really think he is! Thanks, Peter, for doing such a great job!

Words cannot express our gratitude to Peter of Sigma Electric. He saved us from disaster. Our outdoor kitchen project, started by a previous company was a disaster waiting to happen. As homeowners, we placed our trust in our previous contractor, however, we were astute enough to note that the electrical work, in progress at the time, would not provide sufficient service for all our intended lighting and appliances. There were multiple clues that led us to putting a halt to the work and to look for an alternate company that would confirm our suspicions. Thus, we called upon Peter of Sigma Electric. Not only did Peter confirm our fears that the amperage was insufficient, but he proceeded to demonstrate that there were areas that were deemed not to code. Peter’s first task was to call an inspector who confirmed Peter’s findings and who also pointed out the many hazardous electrical areas. Consequently, we hired Peter who took on the enormous challenge of digging a new underground path to install the correct service cables. The work also entailed fishing extra electrical cables throughout the finished basement, installing new electrical panels, and rectifying the outdoor fixtures with the installation of waterproof pot lights. At completion, Peter further assured us with a certificate from the electrical inspector that the work was completed to code and to the highest standards. No other electrician/contractor has given us the peace of mind that Peter provides his customers. Although this all took place last year, it’s never too late to acknowledge excellence. This is a bit late but I wanted to get this review in to express my appreciation for a job well done. Last year, I was losing the power in my kitchen outlets one by one and needed an electrician to fix the problem. I called and emailed several other electricians but nobody returned my call or responded except Peter of Sigma Electric. Peter answered my call on my first attempt and we set up a date and time for him to show up at my house. Peter arrived promptly, figured out the problem quickly, and fixed my outlets in no time. The problem was due to incorrectly installed outlets and burnt out fuses I didn't know existed in my antiquated fuse box. Peter also took some time checking other outlets that I thought were busted but actually just needed new fuses, and gave me a quote on how much it would cost to install a circuit breaker. Overall, I was happy with the work and I highly recommend Peter and Sigma Electric to anyone needing electrical work done in their house.

Piotr and partner took 7-8 business days this past summer to remove all K&T wiring and replace and/or add wiring as needed to bring all wiring up to and/or above safety and standard code status. The work was done with minimal damage to walls and ceilings. They also added receptacles/outlets as needed to upgrade and improve overall lighting in our 90+ year old house in Port Credit. Piotr came back several times to finish extra requests we made beyond the original job and each task was done on time and professionally with great free advice on several issues. Overall, a job well done and much less disruptive than we feared at first. Piotr was great to work with and took great pride in doing the work right the first time and he ensured we understood what he planned to do and why so we were very comfortable and had full confidence in him.
