We meet the Lakehurst team at the Toronto Home Show and asked them in to give us a quote on painting our entire 2-story house. Mario came by, discussed the job with us in detail, made suggestions, and gave us confidence that Lakehurst would do the job well. So we signed up and made arrangements to have the job done.
Because this was the entire house we moved out to a local hotel for 2 weeks after emptying everything moveable to the basement or garage. Mario's team came in on time and started with the messiest part of the project - removing the old "popcorn" ceiling on the first floor and replacing it with a modern flat ceiling. The team then went through the house, touching up, priming, painting and doing everything very well. The job was finished on time and on budget.
Lakehurst also put a solid stain on our courtyard cedar deck, and have keep an eye on it to make certain that the stain keeps on looking good.
All-in-all, it was a very satisfying experience dealing with Mario and Lakehurst. Our home ended up looking and feeling like new. We definitely would recommend Lakehurst for any quality painting job.
