Howald Aluminum Windows & Doors

I've been to Howald Windows and Doors twice in the last 2 years and both times, it's been for small door repair items I was looking for. Our patio door lock and mechanism seized and with no brand name to go on, we brought the old housing in and they were able to get us what we needed. Clearly it was not a universal part, and when we brought it home, it worked like a charm. The second time was just this past weekend where they problem solved with me how to remedy a U shaped weather strip for the bottom of my front door. They even cut a metal strip off the original part. What impressed me most was they were already closed 1/2 hr before on a Saturday and said come in, spent the time with me to figure out a solution and only charged me for the part I purchased. $7.95 later, I was on my merry way. Howalds has been in business almost 60 years and they really KNOW their stuff. When it comes time for a bigger Windows and Doors purchase or another repair, I will definitely be a repeat customer!
