Royal York Roofing did a good job with a full roofing job in Sep 2013, and did a great job with removing old shingles, cleanup and disposal. As a result the neighbour also contracted RYR to do their reshingling job at the same time.
Recently neighbours advised us that they saw squirrels going in and out of the roof via one of the vents. It turns out they have bitten through the polyurethane duraflo vents. We called RYR to assess and they are working with us to resolve the issue.

We were pleased with the roofing job done to replace shingles in Sep 2013. However, since contract didn't specify, we were unaware that our original sheet metal vents were replaced with type of plastic vents.
Recently have been made aware (by neighboors) that squirrels are going in and out of our roof, having bitten through these plastic vents. It's been over a week now that I've been trying to get Royal York Roofing to respond to address this problem and give us an estimate or recommendation. I've called them several times and haven't not received any feedback from them. I'm disappointed in their lack of response.
