The Cutting Edge Roofing

I would recommend The Cutting Edge Roofing if you are having your roof reshingled. I found they did quality work at a fair price.
- Robert provided good recommendations on the shingles and other roofing materials. After speaking with him the first time, I did some investigating and came to appreciate that he only uses quality materials.
- The one time he wasn't sure of the answer to a question, he quickly put me in contact with the shingle distributor so I could clarify things
- Robert provided addresses of previous work to help us decide which shingles would look best on our house. We had a hard time deciding as my wife preferred one shingle colour from the samples, and I preferred another...this really helped us decide
- The people who came to the house to do the work were are all friendly and polite
- They were careful in their work. We have quite a few flower beds around the house, and not one flower was damaged.
- They did an excellent job of cleaning things up after they were done

Our roof shingles were due in for replacement and we got quotes from a number of roofers in the area. Even though Robert's quote was not the cheapest one, we felt comfortable dealing with him. The crew showed up for work right on time and were extremely efficient, courteous and friendly. They worked late in the day and completed all the work in a day and cleaned up dropped pieces of old shingles and nails.
We would recommend anyone wishing to have their roofing work done to call Robert Landry.

Recently The Cutting Edge Roofing re did our roof and we found them to be reliable and easy to deal with. Shortly afterwards we had our chiminey inspected and serviced by another stablished company who remarked what a complete and remarkeable job that had been done, even mentioning how well the flashings had been installed. At this point We agree and are extremely satisfied.

It’s not everyday that you re-shingle the roof so most of us have no idea what is involved, how much it will cost, or who to trust to carry it out. We called several places looking for quotes and The Cutting Edge Roofing were the first to answer the phone with a real person and immediately scheduled a site visit (good first impression). Robert Landry was on our roof taking measurements as we pulled into our driveway (even better second impression), and we had a quote in our hand before he left the property. Other firms either didn’t get back to us, sounded disinterested in the work or, in one case, provided an estimate without even getting up on the roof! Robert’s quote was competitive with those of other firms we approached.

The rainy summer of ’09 meant we needed to be flexible around the exact installation date. Even so, Robert and The Cutting Edge Roofing crew arrived on-time, on-date, and ready to go. In one day they stripped two layers of old shingles, patched holes, cut plenty of new vents, and installed the new shingles. The change to the exterior of the house was nothing short of spectacular (thanks, Robert, for helping us choose the right shingles)! The entire team were courteous and hard working – all waste materials were removed from the property and Robert did a personal inspection to pick up any loose nails (he knows we have two dogs and wanted to ensure their safety).

It’s not everyday that you re-shingle the roof, and we probably won’t need The Cutting Edge Roofing for a very long time. Having said that, they will be our first choice if needed, and we recommend them without reservation.

i had received several quotes to replace roof and install 2 skylights, i have to admit 1 quote was actually a lot cheaper than cutting edge! but after Rob Landry (the owner cutting edge) explained to my wife and myself what he would do and the warranty etc, we were very impressed with his honesty! needless to say he was awarded the job, very professional, excellent job, and clean. he has since returned to make sure we are happy. great service 100% Definitley recommend his company. We had problems with our skylight for years. Robert solved it! The work was exceptional. Robert built curb, mounted Velux skylight, covered the roof with ice water shield for our family room addition. The work was exceptional. The job was quickly done, and site was cleaned up nicely. I quoted 6 contractors. I chose Robert since he is very honest. I had NO problem with our skylight for 1 year now.
