I was very pleased with work done by Guy’s team in rebuilding my chimney and installing a new gas liner. In fact, I even received a complement from my neighbor on how good the chimney now looks with the brick matching so perfectly. The work was completed within a short time and everything was cleaned up afterwards.

I wanted to document a short testimonial on the good work by Bowman Masonry Restoration Ltd. Guy Bowman visited our home and looked at what had to be done, he made some recommendations and said he would follow that up with a written estimate and price of exactly what he would be doing. Subsequently, they replaced faulty brick with new brick and mortar and did a very good job. In fact the work they did was much better than the original work when the house was built. The two men on the job were real professionals, they were polite and helpful, customer service oriented and they ensured we were satisfied with what they had done before they left. An invoice followed by email a few days later and it was paid. All in all I would highly recommend Bowman Masonry Restoration Ltd.

Bowman Masonry came highly recommended to me from my neighbour, who, after hearing my horror stories of dealing with some other contractors (for the same job) told me to contact Guy. I was extremely pleased with Bowman Masonry. They did an excellent job rebuilding my chimney. It was done within the timeline that he said that it would be done in. The cost was extremely reasonable and they were very pleasant to deal with. They left the worksite clean at the end of the day and then again at the end of the job. They job was explained to me in detail and there were no unexpected costs.

I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future if/when the need arises.

My chimney was in bad shape, but being the owner of a century home I was going to be very selective about who was going to do the rebuild. I did a thorough investigation - getting 5 quotes, checking references, viewing pictures of work completed and comparing estimates. Most homeowner want the same thing - the job done right, a fair price and that the process of doing the work is professional (show up on time, clean up, keep the neighbours happy etc). Guy and his team at Bowman Masonry exceeded my expecations in all facets - great job, great value and their professionalism was evident throughout. I can't recommend them strongly enough.

In the past five years Bowman Masonry has been hired to complete various types of repairs at Maynard Nursing Home. They varied from small to big and were all completed on time with superior workmanship. Some of the types of work completed were as follows:

• repairing front walkway and steps and matching the 1920s design
• repairing wheel chair ramp which included the removal of the existing wall while shoring up the ramp and then rebuilding of the wall.
• brick tuck pointing and replacement of bricks in a porch column
• repairing holes that small animals made to access the roof area

They are courteous and reliable and we highly recommend them for any jobs in their field of expertise.
