We actually found Thermal Edge from reviews on this website. Our A/C unit failed the first time we called Maric at Thermal Edge. He was working at a job site nearby and said he could stop over in about 4 hrs and would call just before. He called to confirm he was 5 minutes from arriving just a few hours later. When he did arrive he had the issue diagnosed in a few minutes, which was a failed contactor. I had researched the symptoms beforehand and was fairly confident that was the issue but I wasn't about to get into that type of repair and obviously I wasn't completely certain. So that was a good feeling. The cost was much lower than I would have expected, considering we were paying for a part and a service call!
The second call to Maric:
About a month later, we had no hot water and a flashing indicator light on the tank. I called Maric and while on the phone he instructed me to reset by unplugging the power supply and then how to verify the flame had ignited at the bottom of the tank. He then said to call the company from whom we had leased the water tank to get a service call which should be at no charge. I can hardly say how impressed I was to find that kind of honesty.
Despite being incredibly busy, I was compelled to get back to this site and finally write this review.
