Great staff, great product. Ben was very informative and was a great help in picking our floors. He taught us things we didn’t even consider when choosing different types floors. Delivery arrived within a few days.

Sales at Thornhill showroom were a great help. Showed them a photo the bedroom and bathroom in need of flooring and they loaned us half a dozen large floor samples to take home to see in place. They promised a quick install just before Christmas and they delivered. Very happy with the result.

In the middle of November we decided at the last minute to have new floors put in our living room, dining room and family room. We went to to the Thornhill store because it was close to our home. Mohammad and Sara were very helpful in helping us decide on the flooring. They allowed us to take some samples home so that we could best match the color with our home decor. The installation went very quickly and on time. Ivan and his crew were very professional. Ivan made sure everything was correct down to the last detail and even working late Saturday evening to get the job finished. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend them.

From the initial stages of project planning to installation, the team has been amazing, very professional, knowledgeable and always available by phone or text. Ben has been fantastic to deal with, he took floor measurements, gave us affordable and high-quality options for engineered hardwood to match our staircase and existing custom wood trims. The installation for over 2000 sq. feet was efficient, Steven and the install team did a great job at laying down the hardwood over tile in the basement and replacing the parquet on the second floor. Highly recommend this A+ team, they went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations!

Installing hardwood floors was the largest renovation we've undertaken in our home, 4 Bedrooms , Hallways, Family Room and Living Room so we were understandably nervous about who to choose to do our project. Floors Direct North was the perfect choice. From the moment we visited the showroom to the amazing install team led by Tran and the Stair Painting done by Hovig and the carpet runner completed by Ridvan we are very satisfied with the outcome. The whole team including Ben, Mohammad and Sarah were all very professional, well organized and provided superior customer service. Thank you for a job well done.

I contacted Floors Direct North for carpet squares to put together to construct a carpet for our class. The owner, Ben, responded to my email promptly. He invited me to visit the Thornhill Store where I had the pleasure of speaking to Sara and Mohammad. There were not enough carpet squares to build a big enough carpet to accommodate all the students, so they asked me for the measurements and gave me information about carpets. Ara, delivered the carpet today and it is a perfect fit! Their expertise and kindness is heart warming and much appreciated by everyone at the school especially the children in the class who have a comfortable carpet to sit on. They are certainly the "friendly local flooring experts!"

Told the job should only take a day and possibly part of the next day for possible touch-ups. When a single installer showed up to deliver the supplies and he said he would be there early the next morning to work alone, I knew there would be a problem getting it done on time. There was big furniture to shift. This was understood from the beginning.

As I will be living with these floors for years, it was important to me that the floors were done right so I wasn't too worried about quick. Del and Rob were friendly and focused on doing the job right. The end result was worth it. The floors look amazing. I am so happy to see those carpets go.

We have had previously installed hardwood and basement carpet by Floors Direct North. This time our 30+ year carpet in our upper floor needed to be replaced. Sara at the Doncaster store was very helpful in the carpet selection.

The carpet was expertly installed by RIdvan, who was meticulous and had the expertise to deal with the more complicated installation on the stairway. As usual the installers used by this company did an excellent job.

Two weeks ago, Direct Flooring installed oak hardwood in my three bedrooms and hallway. They did a terrific job and completed everything within 3 days. They were very efficient and very polite and left my home spotless. They even sanded my stair railings and spindles to ensure that they perfectly matched my hardwood floorings. The next business day the carpet installer came and did a great job on the stairs even though the pile on the carpet was a challenge to lay on the stairs. He also left my home neat and tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone both for price. selection and quality of installation. Thank you Direct Flooring.

I hired Floors Direct North (Newmarket Office) after doing some research with a few other companies for the following work. Removal of old carpet, installation of Engineered Hardwood Floors (2nd Floor) – 3 Bedrooms and a large landing. Also in their scope of work was to put in new hardwood stairs, stain the old railing and install new pickets, plus painting. Was told they would start on the July Long Weekend (Monday). Was skeptical so I asked more than once and was told they would start on the Monday. Work did not start until the Tuesday. Work was completed minus the painting within the week per our agreement. When the work was completed there were various issues that required 2 additional follow up visits. 1st time there was a major scratch cause by the contractor they used. Required them to come hack up the floor and replace it with new flooring. Additional nails and installation / fixes would then require an additional visit. They did fix all the issues except 2 that I am not satisfied with but left to fix on my own. Looks nice but not a good experience and would look elsewhere in the future. It was also difficult communicating with the installers as one spoke zero English and the other very poor English.

You will find 2 photos. Photo 1 I was told by the installers that was my fault and I should fill and paint it. They created it as a result of their work. 2nd was the wood delaminating. They threw in a few nails. Looks Terrible and I guess I am left to paint it.
