Mehmet is absolutely fantastic! What should have been a simple install, was not due to our old valves and plumbing...which he went out of his way to take care of for us. The RIGHT blend of professional and personal, Mehmet clearly knows what he is doing AND is friendly and courteous! I have no reservations recommending him to anyone who needs plumbing and heating work done!

We had GVA Plumbing and Heating do all the plumbing work for the renovation of two bathrooms in our house. They were friendly, polite and professional and very accommodating. They did a great job and were punctual and efficient. We will use them again for sure and recommend them to our friends and neighbours!

Our old dishwasher started leaking so we decided to get a new one rather than repair our old one. I always knew when we were going to replace it I was going to have the old poly piping replaced at the same time. As 'luck' would have it, we had already ordered a new fridge with water and ice maker. Since our old one doesn't have a water line, I decided to get the dishwasher lines replaced and a new supply line for the new fridge done now. After reading the reviews on Homestars, we decided to contact GVA and Mehmet. Best decision ever.

Setting up an appointment was easy and he was punctual, professional and incredibly friendly. I really liked that the person I spoke to on the phone was the person who showed up at the door, and we didn't have to go over the story again. He was prepared, quick to assess the situation, quick to come up with a solution and deliver his services at an incredibly reasonable price. The work was completed in short order and we couldn't have been happier.

All the other reviews on GVA are bang on. Don't hesitate to contact them- you'll be glad you did.

We still have more poly piping that needs to be replaced. We will be having Mehmet do that in the near future.

It was a pleasure to have Mehmet and his brother come to service our gas boiler. He was very helpful in explaining important aspects of the boiler that I should be aware of. Would definitely recommend.

The bottom of our toilet actually leaked and after apply grout to seal it many times over nothing worked. We called on Mehmet who did the job with such accuracy and professionalism and at a great price. He also explained that moisture control was really important in our washroom environment which can contribute to such problems. Highly recommended.

Mehmet did the work on my tenant's toilet honestly and quickly. He charged me for only the part that was broken even though he replaced all of the parts in the toilet. Great service! Highly recommend him.
