Last week we plugged something in and the power went out in both of my sons' rooms. No breaker tripped, no sparks flew the lights just went out. I left messages with a few electricians I found on Yelp and, within a hour, Mark at Green Planet Electric returned my call. He was on a work site in Toronto but said he could drop by on his way home - around 7 pm. I sent him a pic of the breaker panel and waited. He arrived as promised and got right to work. Within five minutes he had diagnosed the issue and in under a half hour made the repair. It was truly impressive. Without getting too technical, he traced the problem to an outlet and replaced it. Am I alone in being impressed by watching people who are good at their job, do a good job? He was smart, friendly, open to my questions, and very competent. We will be calling him again. If you live in Durham or East of Toronto, consider ringing him up the next time you have an electrical issue.
