Kurt & his team at Distinctive Designs Landscaping were phenomenal in conducting our pool demo and renovations of our backyard. They were professional, punctual, worked extremely efficiently to complete a large and complicated project without any hiccups.

Kurt took a lot of care in planning out the project and communicating all the details with us. He was helpful in actualizing the vision we had for this project and providing us options that met our requirements and budget.

They completed the project in less than two weeks and did an excellent job cleaning up and leaving the rest of the property in great condition.

If you ever need to re-engineer and upgrade your old, antiquated interlock and front porch, look no further than Kurt and his team from Distinctive Designs. All I can say is that Kurt and his team set the 'benchmark' for 'professionalism' and 'doing it right'. Kurt's team works hard, and are meticulous in the quality of their work. Kurt is very flexible, and, thinks 'out of the box'. If what was originally quoted can be improved for the better, Kurt doesn't 'nickel and dime', he'll make the suggestion, and let the client make the final decision, as in the case with us. The outcome looks like "a million bucks"... and then some. Have a look at the one 'before' and the two 'after' photos (should be intuitively obvious). The two posts with the round concrete balls are gone, but their removal were not in the original plan per se. Really opened up the front ...

We couldnt be more thrilled with our new backyard! Kurt was recommended to us by my husbands co-worker, and we are so happy we went with him. Our backyard at our new house needed to be completely re-done. Kurt worked with us within our budget, and went back to the drawing board with us a couple of times as our vision changed. His team was tidy and conscientious during the tear down and build. Any little changes that needed to be made as the project progressed were communicated to us clearly. We are so happy with the finished project, and my in-laws have already booked him to do a project in their backyard as well! Highly recommend.

Kurt and his crew did an outstanding job or replacing the front porch with beautiful granite, plus lift and re-lay stone walkway and last project was adding a cedar deck walkout from the kitchen. Crew was courteous and cleaned up everyday. There is no hesitation in recommending them. Thanks again!

Kurt and his crew of Courtney, Frank and Pat refurbished our 20-something-year-old rear patio and added a permanent gazebo. The existing patio & overgrown plantings were removed and new stone work set in its place. A new gazebo, approximately 10x14' was built at one end of the patio. Kurt and crew were fantastic to work with. Everything that was promised was delivered including a couple of minor change orders during construction. Work was done on time and on budget and the back yard looks MUCH better now! Our thanks to Kurt and the team for a delightful job that more than meets our expectations! We are very happy with the work and will call them for future work without hesitation.

Kurt is my goto for landscaping. He's done my patio, walkways, armour stone along driveway, and recently a walkway with retaining wall and a double gate. His crew is always respectful, they keep the jobsite tidy, and do a clean job.

We cannot stress how happy we are with the job that Kurt and his crew did. We were not quite sure what we wanted, and Kurts guided us through to our dream backyard! Very professional and always easy to reach, we were kept informed throughout the process and had ABSOLUTELY NO SURPRISES OR UNWARRANTED COSTS! I have been in the construction industry for a long time and have never had a trade like DDL. I will let the photos spread for themselves.
P.S. In case the value seems like a lot, we also had our existing 2 level deck and stairs refinished and clad in composite.
