We recently decided to buy an electric car that would require an EV charger to be installed in our garage. I was glad to find Montana Electrical Service's licensed Master Electrician with decades of experience and up-to-date knowledge of the new technologies involved in this switch. David was extremely efficient in getting us an estimate for the work. He was always polite and never talked down to us. He provided a clear summary of the facts along with his estimate: an assessment of the state of the house electricals, options for achieving the goal of being able to recharge the car quickly every night, the estimated cost of various options, and which options entailed potential cost overruns. He recommended an option that was cost-effective and suited to the car. His sensible recommendation was do-able, reasonably priced, and matched our goals. He accomplished all of this in half the time that other bidders took to provide an initial estimate. When we agreed to go ahead, David scheduled the work immediately and did that work on schedule, with no delays or cost overruns. The work was exceptionally well planned and well executed. The charger looks nice on the garage wall, and it has security features that we wouldn't have known to ask for. The need for cleanup was minimal. David saved us administrative time with our insurance company by getting us a Certificate of Acceptance for the work from the Electrical Safety Authority. He made sure we were satisfied with the agreement and the work before taking payment. In short, it was a great experience, with top quality work provided and a job generally well done. We will be calling on Montana Electrical Services for our future electrician needs.
