HORRIBLE! Didn't send a bill for 2 yrs even after enailing and asking for one, then mails us a paper bill for over $1000. After 6 months of asking what happened and to get rid of the the late charges..NO REPLIES! then an Email saying they will take us to collection agency!! THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Asked them to fix our sensor on the front door they said we need to fix our house instead of coming to adjust!

Ok so we have had API alarms now since last July 2019 . Protelec alarms with us fir 22 years. They would call if anything showed up on our alarm pad . Now we up greated
To a brand new system . Since last July our alarm has gone off severe so times 15 mins and no one called , as well beeping at 4 am and nothing , they keep saying it is our MTS. Internet provider , just called them they said your phone internet has been running fir 62 days . API is not telling us the truth . As well they won’t even call here if the alarm goes off until I wait fir them 8 hours later , they said they were too busy , what our lives could have been at risk , terrible service . Winnipeg mb

I am questioning if API Alarm is really an alarm company! I used to be a customer, but cancelled my contract with them as it turns out they were not monitoring my residential alarm system! Be very cautious if using them!!! If looking to start using them, do not! I have heard many customers are switching to other providers.

I had Fluent , now the largest dealer of API , come and evaluate my existing Vivint system . They quickly pointed out the need for a monitored CO closer to the family quarters . I was upgraded to a new panel , and had a water leak sensor added in a difficult spot at no charge . On top of this , they lowered my rate ! I had a problem a month later , they told me it would be just over a week for service but the service guy called me the next day as he was in the area . And they are Canada's fastest growing alarm company . Great job !

I had bad experience with API Alarm, poor service, and unprofessional when it comes to dealing with their customers. API Alarm is done with you once you signed on the dotted line. Do not expect them to live to their promises either.
