Home Reno Project

I hired Prep N Sell to do a home reno last year. It started out well but then one of their subcontractors did a sloppy job, in my opinion. I went back and forth a few times with David and got some things fixed but some things he wouldn't budge on.

Edit: I didn't change my mind about anything. You really want to have a public debate with pictures and testimony from other contractors? Your project manager was awful and one of your workers who still works for you made big mistakes. Changing my review to a zero.

$40,000.00

Company Response

These clients kept changing their minds and we did our best to satisfy them. We also had a Project Manager who is no longer with us. We have countless satisfied clients that love our professional work.

Home Reno Project

I hired Prep N Sell to do a home reno last year. It started out well but then one of their subcontractors did a sloppy job. I went back and forth a few times with David and got some things fixed. I have since had to hire other contractors to fix their mistakes.

Here are some of the problems:

- tiles were not properly set, crooked and broken
- cuts to kitchen counter were not done with a fine blade and created cracks cracks
- they didn't vent the bathroom fan they installed
- damage to products I purchased for install including kitchen cabinets and counter top.
- large pieces of construction material were found in ducts after the job was done.
- improper cuts to drywall where they were adding light switches
- bathroom light fixture is not up to code.
- generally used cheap materials to cut down on costs.

I would not recommend this company for any renovations. They have a serious problem with quality control.
