4 juniper trees

Andrew was the first to respond to my quote request through home stars and provided the most fair estimate. After some communication back and forth to agree on the job and date, he arrived as promised and delivered. It is very obvious that Andrew takes pride in his work and wants to ensure that the customer is satisfied. We recommend The Re:Leaf Group and will definite use them again.

Tree trimming

We needed all our front and back yard trees trimmed. They were all aprox 30 years old and I doubt they were ever trimmed before. Andrew did an amazing job on all our trees about half a dozen and the clean up was immaculate. He worked hard at making sure my vegetables and flowers weren't harmed in the process too. I will definitely call Andrew next time I need help and wouldn't hesitate to refer friends. Thanks so much!

Tree trimming

Hired Andrew to trim back the top and sides of my very large maple tree that was taking over most of my backyard and peeping over onto my neighbors' yards. He was very pleasant, did an excellent and thorough job of trimming back and allowing the sun to shine through after many years of shade and did an immaculate clean-up of what was A LOT of tree branches and leaves. Would highly recommend the Re-Leaf Group!!

Thank you for hiring us to prune your tree. Thinning the canopy of your Maple tree will allow sunlight to filter through to your grass. Your deck area and house will also have more light. Maybe you will be able to have a vegetable garden this year if it's not too late. Have a great summer.

Tree removal

I thought it was a fair price to take down a 2 storey poplar in a townhouse backyard. Branch and trunk pieces were brought to the front myself. Great service. The tree came down expertly.

I think you made the right choice removing your poplar tree while it was still relatively small. Thank you for hiring me to remove it.

Thank you hiring us to prune your leaning spruce tree. We reduced the height of the tree to help prevent it from falling over in a wind storm. It was planted in heavy clay soil and the roots haven't be able to grow into the clay to secure itself properly. Your tree may need pruning again in a few years and we look forward to working for you again. Have a great summer and keep in touch.

Tree Trimming

We had a large Austrian Pine and Norway Maple tree that needed pruning. A week after an estimate, Andrew came to our house and was courteous and professional. He allowed us to dictate which branches we wished to have trimmed. Also, he tied rope to each large branch that was cut so he could lower them without the heavy drop to the ground, avoiding damage to our garden and lawn. Lastly, as a favour he was able to remove old Christmas tree lights that were out of reach for years! Very reasonably priced. I cannot recommend him more!

Andrew Evans H.L.T. is the owner and founder of ReLeaf Group and an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist.

Andrew unearthed his passion for trees during his high school summer vacation job at a local nursery, where he was introduced to all the different trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials. His first experience with nature was a lasting one. After two summers at the nursery he was hired as an Ontario junior ranger with the Ministry of Natural Resources and was stationed in northern Ontario, tasked with maintaining canoe portage trails and tree planting.

After graduating from high school, he knew he wanted to pursue a career in the green industry. He spent the next three years studying at Humber College graduating with honors in arboriculture (the care of trees) and received an honours diploma in landscape horticulture. He was awarded the Board of Governors' Award, which honours the most accomplished student.

From Humber College, Andrew was immediately hired by the City of Toronto and over the next thirteen years he was involved in pruning, removal, planting, fertilizing and inspection of trees in city parks and streets. As part of an select group, he spent six of those years working under contract to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency where he was trained to inspect trees for infestation of the Asian Long Horned Beetle and the Emerald Ash Borer.

The ReLeaf Group was founded as a part-time business to provide tree care service to private home owners but his exceptional reputation soon grew his business into a full time venture.

Extensive credentials combined with expansive experience!
