Update II: The company came and put back our edging. It was done carefully and looks great. I appreciate that they came back to help us out.
Update: Talked to company and they want to "make things right" by putting our edging back together and providing some new plants for the garden. I'll update again once the work is finished but I'm happy with their response.
Tree doctors took down a large dead Ash tree in our backyard. I'm quite unimpressed on how they left our property. I know and understand that there will be damages to the surrounding area when a large tree needs to come down but I felt like the quantity of damages was quite extreme. Half of our garden is gone and they ripped up our stone edging (breaking one) which we spent a lot of money getting installed a year ago. We have between $750-$1000 in damages. We talked to the company and they were willing to give us a $100 discount. Anyways, we have no recourse as we signed a waiver saying they could damage our property but I wouldn't recommend them as a company to anyone else.
