Our furnace broke down mid December last year and was without heat for 3wks. After an attempt to fix it (with another company) it broke again weeks later.
It was now February - we were freezing in our house. It was time to replace our furnace. After doing some research we met with two different companies, one of which was with Laurenzo @ Westmount Heating. Right off the bat after just a few minutes with him, we were really impressed with his friendly attitude. He told us what needed to be done and did not try to sell us things we did not need. Quotes were given for three different Lennox furnaces. He did not try to up-sell us to get the most expensive one, but told us the mid range or higher model will work most efficiently with our home. He gave us no pressure in deciding right away. Told us to feel free to shop around, and if we decided to go with him to call back to schedule an appointment.
We did meet with the other company, but they were definitely way over-priced for the exact same model we decided on. They were also not too personable. They walked around, took some notes and told us they'd get back to us in a few days with the prices...
At the end we called Laurenzo, within a week we had our new furnace installed, included was a brand new digital thermostat. So happy our home was warm again. We highly recommend Westmount Heating!
