We are extremely pleased with our new updated staircase. The treads were sanded and stained, the stringers painted white, and new risers, wrought iron spindles and oak handrail/ posts were added. Dealing with Ideal Stairs was a positive experience from beginning to end. We would absolutely use this company again and would recommend them to others. Everyone we dealt with was very professional, courteous and friendly. The work crew was well organized, reliable, hard working and always cleaned up before leaving.
The quality of the work was great...they matched the stair colour to the existing hardwood on the main floor, took extra effort to rid the stairs of creaks and took care not to damage the wallpaper. There was one complication with the handrail and Ideal Stairs exhibited excellent communication and customer service throughout the corrective process.
Thanks again to the whole team. You exceeded our expectations and were an absolute pleasure to deal with.
