We called and Home Pro Pest Control came right away. The technician, Allan, was very knowledgeable, efficient, super courteous, and very reassuring. He explained the depth of the problem and the various steps that needed to be taken to remedy it. He gave us his card and explained how the office works with follow up appointments. He checked the house, inside and out, including crawling deep under the decks. Allan set traps and stations, he had all the necessary equipment with him before he arrived. This is a neighbourhood issue. We were initially given a heads up by a neighbour and know we can offer Allan's services to our other neighbours with confidence. We feel confident our unexpected rodent problem will be solved safely and in a timely manner. We maintain a clean, uncluttered house as do our neighbours. We live in Toronto. Restaurant closures during COVID have caused rodent migration, as we understand.
Allan explained we have the option of dealing with this issue to it's resolution or signing up for an annual contract with quarterly check ups. Both options are reasonably priced. We felt no pressure whatsoever to sign up for the annual contract.
