Scott's Painting Services

This is the second time we asked Scott to do work for us and we certainly were not disappointed. He took the time come and give us suggestions for colour choices and his quote was on target and professionally prepared. On the day he was supposed to start work the floor people had not quite finished he calmly took this in stride and worked around them. Not once in the three days he worked at our home was he even a minute late. The end product is stunning, even my fussy husband had to admit that the job Scott has done is perfect. Thanks for the great job Scott!

We needed someone to paint our entire new condo as the walls/ceiling were still covered with cheap white builders paint. We read numerous reviews then after interviewing 3 companies highly recommended on HomeStars we selected Scott. His quote was very competitive. Also we have a number of quirks with regard to parking issues with our building and Scott helped us to resolve these.
With regard to the painting, Scott did an amazing job. He is very particular, professional and trustworthy. Our place looks amazing. He worked with our schedule and with us chose to work longer days resulting in finishing a couple of days early. I felt like we worked as a partner with Scott as we had a daily dialogue of what was next to be done and we could prepare accordingly. We are extremely satisfied with Scott's work and highly recommend him.

I hired Scott the first time based on reviews I had read on Home Stars. He did an amazing job painting my living room and dining room last summer, and because of that, I hired him again recently to paint my kitchen. He not only painted the walls and trim, but all the cabinets, which now look like they're brand new. Scott was on time, courteous, clean and very well organized. I have since recommended him to other friends and family members, and when the time comes I will ask him back, without hesitation.

We bought an old house back in Jan, which definitely needed to be re-painted. We found Scott on homestar and it was a great experience. This was our first home purchase and we knew very little about renovation. Scott had given us very useful suggestions (such as color selection, etc) along the way, always tried to accommodate our requests and never been pushy. The communication has always been smooth from the beginning till the end, and we became friends. He responded to our initial email with some details in a prompt manner, and came afterwards to see the house to finalize the quote and the details of the job. The quote was quite reasonable, and he finished the job even a day or two earlier than the estimation. He was very careful and patient when doing the job, always put things (such as power outlet, window curtain rod, etc) back to the original conditions, and kept the place quite tidy. We had new floors installed after he painted the living room walls, which made the walls dusty. He repainted the walls without a problem. The house looks really nice after the painting job and we like it very much! Thank you Scott!

After changing some Kitchen Light Fixtures I attempted to repair the electricians holes left in the wall and on the ceiling.
Bad Mistake. Scott came in to smooth out my errors and bring both the wall and the ceiling back to their original state.

Scott was recommended to me by both a family member and friends. I am so happy they did as it is really difficult to find a skilled and high quality painter. From the moment of our first contact, Scott proved to be professional, prompt and pleasant. He gave me excellent advice about paint types and finishes and met all the timelines he had agreed to. His work was top notch from preparing the walls to a spotless clean up. Scott appears to be somewhat of a perfectionist and it showed in the excellence of his work. He was quiet and extremely hard-working on one of the most humid days of the year and I will both use his services again and recommend him to others. What a find!

I've been in touch with Scott for about 6 months about various wallpaper projects but hadn't actually proceeded with the work until this month. Throughout that time Scott was very responsive to every inquiry, flexible with many changes in the scope of the project and provided education/guidance by email on the quantity of wallpaper I needed given the unique patterns I was considering.

Today, Scott was extremely prompt (actually asking if it was okay to start early) and took great care to ensure his work was flawless. Of all the contractors we've worked with, Scott seemed to exhibit the most care and pride in his work, and it shows. We couldn't be happier with the end result and would (and will) recommend Scott.

This review is a long time. Over the past 1 1/2 years we've hired Scott to paint a few properties we own. We first hired Scott to paint our condo to help freshen it up for our new tenant. We later had Scott paint our two story home, which had some exceptionally high ceilings in places. Every time we've reached out to Scott to arrange a job, he was quick to get back to us with a date to come view the scope of the work and provide a speedy estimate. The estimates have always been reasonable and accurate. Scott is prompt, courteous, respects his client's timetables and always does top quality work. Since we've come to know Scott and the quality of his workmanship, we have hired Scott for a couple other painting jobs. He is our go to painter who never disappoints.
