Act Fast Waterproofing

We had some water coming in in a corner of my very old basement after heavy rains. Colm came by quickly and discussed several options, all of which were reasonably priced for the work. We selected an approach and the work was done quickly and competently. After today's heavy rains I can confirm that the basement is now dry! I would not hesitate to use Act Fast again.

ActFast gave us a competitive price for waterproofing our basement. Colm was great he explained every step of the process in great detail to make sure I understood everything. They started the job promptly. When a major structural issue was discovered he recognized that it was time to stop and discuss this with me. He was great and flexible with his schedule to accommodate my engineers and other contractors to get the job completed as fast as they could he even came on a few weekends! Now that the work is completed he has always just been a quick text message away for anything questions we may have. We had water leaking into the back room of our basement and called Act Fast Waterproofing for a quote. Colm came over quickly to have a look, spoke with us about our options and to gave us quotes. While renovating basement we noticed that there was some water seepage into the basement at the rear wall. We hired Colm to complete the interior waterproofing and we were very satisfied with the work performed.

In May of last year I hired Colm and his crew to lay some drains and weeping tile on two masonry projects we were working on and I was very satisfied with the work

Act Fast came quickly and did work in a tight space that was rejected by other Waterproofing companies due to precieved lack of access. Colm was courteous, professional and provided work to an extremely high calibre. He stuck to his quote in spite of challenges encountered working with a very old foundation. As someone who had worked in property management, Colm is one of the easiest trades person I have ever dealt with. Our house needed foundation waterproofing. Due to the lack of space, there is no possibility of using any heavy machinery. Colm and his colleagues did an incredible job. They broke 30 feet of concrete pavement, then did all digging and refilling manually. The waterproofing was done to perfection (patching, rubber coating, laying weeping tile and membrane installation). What’s more, Colum removed all debris after the job, leaving our yard perfectly clean. We no longer have to worry about water in the basement after heavy rain storms. I will not hesitate to recommend Colum to any of my friends.

As a GC I deal with a lot of trades, Colum has been one of the nicest, honest and hard working individuals I have ever worked with. We got 14 feet of external Waterproofing done in the summer by Act Fast. I liked that they parged the wall with a type S cement before applying the tar.
