The crew was fantastic! The stone that needed to be taken up was done very quickly! When problems arose, a solution was presented. When consultation was required the crew and Jay were very sure to engage my husband and I in any decisions. The stone design was well executed and it made our entry extremely attractive! We are very pleased with Greenside UP!!

Jay and his group were asked to redo our backyard in a very small window due to seasonal weather concerns. Not only did Jay come through as promised but also within budget. Green Side Up is very professional and constantly kept my son and I up to date. Jay was very accommodating in making last minute changes happen. Jay was courteous, professional and always kept me informed. His crew Jordan, Jamie and Cole did an outstanding job installing the new parking pad in my front yard. The craftsmanship is superb, they are smart, responsive and sensitive to the client’s wishes, a true pleasure to work with. The project was completed on time and the job came in right on budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Jay and his team to my family and friends.

Jay & his crew did a very good job of re-building a mutual fence shared with a neighbour. We appreciate the solid foundation the new posts make - it's a damp location. Patio stones and a retaining wall that were moved to permit access were put back in place and are better positioned than before! Superficial clean-up was satisfactory though not excellent.

We are very happy with Jay and his team. Jay was able to work within our budget and gave us the best option. He was honest when the project would go over budget and let us know right away. When his team was not able to start on the agreed starting date due to weather or delayed in his other project, he let us know in advance. They finished in 5 days for all the projects. I already recommended Jay to another friend of mine and would do it again in the future.

They were very professional, the crew we're very friendly and worked hard. Each stage of the project was explained with both my wife and myself. Guys arrived early and stayed late to get the job done and I would highly recommend Greenside Up for your next landscape project!

We first contacted Green Side Up for our snow removal in our newly purchased home in Aurora in the winter of 2014/2015.

After being very satisfied with Jay's willingness to add us in last minute to his route and his team's professional attitude and workmanship we decided to use them for our landscaping project.

We had jay replace our entire backyard sod and plant 7 new cedars for extra privacy.

Jay is a very outgoing guy and easy to work with. I'm quite specific in what I want and he tried his best to accommodate each of my request. Jay and Jordan installed a stone interlocked patio with wooden stairs, I had a hard time in finding the stone colour and Jay suggested to go with Huron which turned out to be amazing. They finished it in 2 days, I couldn't believe how fast it is and the workmanship is very good. My patio looks awesome now, thank you guys!!

Green Side Up installed a retaining wall, walkway and garden. It was a pleasure to work with Jay and his team throughout the process. The stone work is beautiful. Our project was relatively small, but Jay made it a priority. I highly recommend Green Side Up and would use them again in the future.

Our paving and landscape project was enormous and we could not be happier! Jay and his team spent a month completely renewing our one-third acre property. We now have reshaped and reconditioned flower beds, mulched beds and cedar hedges, two 20’ x 20’ paved patios and a circular fire pit pad, and a totally redesigned front entrance with garden walls and new plantings. The workmanship is superb.

Jay is a pleasure to work with. His quote was absolutely transparent. He began the job a day earlier than scheduled, and he delivered on every promise. Most important, Jay is a great communicator. You can’t anticipate everything in a job of the size we undertook. You have to figure some things out along the way. Jay has knowledge and ideas. He listens and collaborates. The result for us was that we got something more wonderful than we had expected or envisioned at the start of the project.

Jay and his team are committed to quality. The project foreman, Jordan, is highly skilled in all aspects of the job, and he is a master craftsman when it comes to mitering stone. I had never seen anything like it. Crew members Gabe, Matthew, Chris, and Jackie were hard workers, quick to understand and act on requests, flawlessly considerate, and just plain fun to get to know. A thoroughly likeable crew is not a frill. It’s the difference between a nightmare and a shared adventure.

Jay and his team were also considerate of our neighbors. They apologized for the disruptions on the street and swept the street to minimize the mess each night. One neighbor’s sprinkler head was damaged and Jay had an expert there the next day to make everything right.

We enthusiastically recommend Green Side Up. We are enjoying our new outdoor living space and very thankful that we had a chance to work with talented, creative, hardworking, honest, thoroughly enjoyable people.
