Green Side Up Contracting

Found Jay's company's on Home Stars and could not be happier. Wonderful service experiences are too rare and Green Side Up was a great find. Do business with these guys, you won't be disappointed. They fixed our grading and maintained our property to pristine condition after our purchase in minimal time. Love this company. Reasonable priced.

I live in a subdivision hampered with water and drainage problems. Coupled with this, is very poor soil and clay. My own property has a swale running along the the south fence line which very rarely dries up. Cutting the grass along that side of the yard, is usually trekking through mud.
I've had city officials over to the house, who basically told me to sue my neighbours, as they deemed improvements that they've made to their properties as being the cause of mine.
I called Jay, at Green Side Up and he proposed the installation of a French drain. The drain was to run the entire length of my property, from west to east, along the south side of the yard.
Once the installation was complete, voila, no more water problems. Within 20 minutes of a heavy rainfall, the entire side of the lot is dry and the water is running out onto the street into sewer.
I would highly recommend Jay Saveall and his crew at Green Side Up Property Maintenance. Because of his professionalism and dedication to detail, I can now enjoy my entire yard. No longer do I have to deal with constant standing water.

Jay pulled up outside my house to do some work at my neighbours and I asked him if he had time to help cut up big branches in my yard. He was fast, efficient and I now have peace of mind knowing that the mess has been cleaned up with little impact to me! Thanks Jay.

I called Jay with a work emergency! I needed to get an extremely icy drive-way salted asap for the filming of a TV show. Jay offered a great solution: Pickle Sand (30% salt, 70% sand). The pickle sand provided traction and we were able to maneuver multiple vehicles up and down the driveway. Success! Jay's service was reliable, punctual and economical.

Jay is responsive and customer focused. Recently we had a late night ice problem with our up hill driveway. Called jay and he was over in about one hour (on his sat night). Fixed the problem and we were able to get up the driveway again! Jay also sends email updates when there are storms etc so you know what to expect (unlike the typical Plow guys -- will they even show up? After going through two other grass and snow contractors we have finally found a keeper with jay. Great guy. Great service.

Jay and his team have done a fantastic job for me this year. They have helped me rebuild my lawn to a beautiful, healthy show piece and have kept me safe this winter with all the winter services they provided (over and above just snow removal - salting and de-icing etc..). I am so grateful for the frequent communication and keeping me (and all their clients) up to date with what’s going on (update on coming snow blizzards and ice storms).
They are very knowledgeable about lawn care and recommend ways of ensuring a healthy and beautiful lawn all season. They don't just mow my lawn. They know what they are doing and treat my property as if it was their own.
Jay and his team actually take care of me all year round and they also support the community. They recently contributed 50% of their profits from the drive-way de-icing blitz they did to support The Aurora Food Pantry. Not many companies would do this...

Jay is the best guy I have ever seen in Landscaping business. I have asked him to deice the walkway in my son school because the school have salt supply issues. He reply in very short period of time and have the whole walkway make it safe at a very reasonable price. Very effecient and very responsible for the job with a warm heart. Its been a few years now that I have used Green Side Up services for both winter and summer times, and gotta tell you this is the company to go with. Jay is always on time, reliable, and their service goes beyond our expectations, with a very fare price.
I was always so sceptical about signing up contracts with grass cutting or snow plowing companies, as we all have experienced non-reliable ones which are really hard to deal with, and charge a lot more than what their service is worth!!
