Gord's Carpet & Duct Cleaning

Over the years we've had a carpet cleaner or two in our home and this year following the floods in Toronto -a friend recommended Gord's Carpet Cleaning. I was really pleased with the service and found Gord himself to be a very kind, respectful individual. He took his time talking to me about the products they use and what they do which was particularily concerning given we had recently experienced flooding. His team arrived on time and eager to work. They took their time to ensure that our basement carpet would be restored to where it was prior to the flood. His prompt response to our needs in a time of crisis will not be forgotten and we will recommend him and his team to our friends for all their annual carpet cleaning needs. Gord's Carpet & Duct Cleaning was recommended by a neighbour. We live in an area with new homes being constructed, which lead to an accumulations of dust and dirt. The staff were professional and friendly. The work was done quickly and efficiently. We were very pleased with results, as we had a stubborn stain in the dinning room (I've been at for the last two years) they were able to remove. Upon completion the carpets were clean fresh and like new again. I was so immpressed with there services I asked them to come back and do the duct cleaning. (see review under Duct Cleaning)

We used to stick a vacuum cleaning tube down the vent to suck up all the debris and junk that was stuck inside the vent tubes but this past year we decided to have a professional help us. Gord's carpet and duct cleaning was recommended by the people who installed our furnace so we had them come over and get the job done. They were 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled time and made sure the job they did left no mess. Two men, one hour and the job was complete. They answered all my questions and I made sure to get a few more magnets so that I could pass their word around the neighbourhood. I received a lot of telemarketing phone calls about duct cleaning and told each and every one of them to not call back because it is quite obvious those companies are newbies and promises you the world with robot cameras, etc but after hearing and reading bad reviews about them I'd rather choose a company with a good reputation.
