I understand that these types of reviews are written by the companies themselves or the companies competitors bad mouthing their competition but my dealing with Penguin is an actual fact. My wife and I chose Penguin because after seeing You Tube videos on putting drywall in a basement,it no longer made sense or an option..We also chose them as they seem to have a good reputation anywhere on the internet.One of our good friends child years ago incurred asthma and they found out mold was the major contributing factor and after seeing government (CMHC) studies on how drywall attracts mold,doing as much research on this including why our honest home builder
told us he's not allowed to build our basement by law until the gov.warranty expires,our home insurance does not cover mold,so,no thanks,there was no question as to what my wife and I had to do.We decided to go ahead with Penguin because they taught us things we had no idea about even though it cost us more than drywall but in the long run,our basement only has to be finished once in a lifetime and our health is the most important to us. Hope our experience encourages others to do the same research as we did and make an educated decision.Like my wife said,it's not always about the money if the job is done right the 1st time.
