My kitchen counter plugs weren't working, so having had a great experience with HomeStars before, I submitted my request. In less than 30 minutes I got a call from Chris who asked good questions to clarify his understanding of the problem and promptly provided information on where I could get more information about his company and see reviews. I was impressed with the reviews and made an appointment for the next morning.

Not only was the problem fixed quickly, but I also got a lesson in how the electrical plugs in my kitchen are set up from and electrical perspective. Chris also provided advice on how I could move some of 'power-hungry' small appliances to a different spot in the kitchen to reduce the potential of tripping. I live in an old condo building, so learning that really old breaker switches do tend to trip more frequently, I'm looking forward to Chris coming back to replace my kitchen breakers (which don't cost much) so I will have more peace of mind since I plan to live here for a long time.

I found the entire experience with Chris to be a great pleasure. He is pleasant, friendly, efficient, very knowledgable, and eager to deliver value to his customer.

I would strongly recommend this company. They were very responsive to what we needed. Because of the pitch of the roof on the deck it was not straightforward. Chris was very helpful & the electricians that came to the house were very professional.

We contacted Marty because our main shut off valve in the basement wasn't holding. Marty arranged for the City to shut down and turn on the water for us, came and replaced the valve, got the water back on and made sure everything was working the way it should be, cleaned up the area he was working in and gave us some advice on another issue we were having that we want to fix ourselves. We highly recommend Marty and his company for your plumbing needs.

I called Marty with a drain issue, and he was kind enough to explain to me over the phone very quickly how to resolve it myself - at no charge. He was personable, helpful, and absolutely correct about what the problem was. He was also correct that other plumbing companies I called were going to charge an evaluation fee, and could easily have told us an expensive repair was in order. I will be telling everyone I know about his company, and will call him again when we need to hire a professional.

We had suffered our second sewage back up in less than a year. The first plumber that was referred to me charged me $300 to put his camera into my clearout access and tell me that I had collapsed pipes that would run me $2000 a foot to replace.

Fast forward to this weekend when backup number two occurred. After contacting insurance for an emergency clean up, the clean up company supervisor indicated that we needed a plumber to assess the issue to solve it. In light of my last experience with a plumber, I asked if they could refer one to me.

They suggested K2 Mechanical Services, and I can't thank them enough for connecting me with such an honest company. Martin was at my home within 30 minutes of me contacting him, and had a very clear course of action sorted out shortly after. Had a piece of equipment needed to finish the job not been on the other side of town, the job would have been completed in well under two hours in total.

I wouldn't think twice about suggesting to contact this company if you need a professional to handle your plumbing issues.
