We started our renovation with such high hopes but the project ended prematurely (and was left incomplete) leaving us with absolute disappointment. We had to hire another company to fix the shoddy work Luis left behind.
Luis can do alot of things but unfortunately in our home he did nothing really well. Based on the work he did for us, I can only conclude that he is nothing more than a glorified handyman parading as a professional contractor. My suggestion is to keep looking. He was a nightmare.
If you read Luis' reply to this post, don't believe a word - just look at the pics. He is trying to paint me as the problem when he needs to look into the mirror. This job was not finished as Luis was fired from the project due to poor workmanship. He makes it sound like he returned my money but this is untrue. He paid back a small portion of the pre-paid installment payments which were made in good faith and on time. Despite what he says below, he just could not deliver what he promised and what he did deliver was generally sub-par.
A third contractor (not hired) that saw pics of the work said, "The picture you sent me needs to be completely torn out, absolutely terrible work, Im not touching that with a 12ft pole. Sorry man, dont take it the wrong way. Im not interested in fixing anyone elses work or having someone elses work be the base for my work. If youre not willing to tear that out, Ill pass."

Once again, an ignorant person who likes to be a keyboard warrior. This job was not finished and money was returned so that he can find another contractor because he was the customer from absolute hell. Here he is showing pictures of work that was not completed and manipulating the story to suit his purpose. All the subcontractors I worked with on this job refused to complete the work because they couldn't stand to work with this customer. These are all subcontractors that I have had no issues with for years, and have worked with them on countless projects, but for someone reason, couldn't deal with this nightmare of a customer. I refunded his money, he signed a release accepting the refund and is still trying to run my company name through the mud. This is a horrible, horrible person and beware any future contractors that may deal with this person. He is a liar and a manipulator.
