Sometimes, you just need a hand with a few odd jobs and it's challenging finding someone willing to take these on when there are bigger, more lucrative jobs to be had.
I contacted Fred to assist with a stuck pocket door and to install a dining room light fixture. I submitted my request through his website and he responded promptly indicating he would call on the telephone to discuss the work. Fred rang when he said he would, provided a best-case/worst-case scenario estimate, and arranged a date and time for the job. He arrived on time, scoped out the work and completed the job to a high standard.
It's worth pointing out that most contractors would cut the drywall to access the stuck pocket door. Fred didn't go that route. He was able to repair the door without any damage to the wall, which saved me a great deal of time and money. And, the dining room light fixture looks great.
