After my friends had hired them to do some plumbing work, they recommended them to me. R&M put up an extra wall for me, painted it and did some minor rewiring, I was very happy with the result! Everything was completed on time without issue as they had predicted (thank you). Pricing was fair and service was friendly. As my friends have, I would recommend you hire R&M whenever you need something done, you will not be disappointed.

As a female rental property owner, I was thrilled to have found R&M to complete the renovation work needed to attract prime tenants. I was initially happy to find a contractor willing to give me an estimate for a smaller job. I was immediately assured by Slava and Emil's pragmatic approach: they had great suggestions on which renovations to undertake so the space looks good and will withstand the wear and tear from renters. They were very helpful during all stages of the renovation: they came with me to hardware stores to choose the materials and were happy to take on many additional jobs that I asked for after the work started. I quickly realized that they could do "small jobs" in minutes which would take me hours to do myself. Although they had other jobs lined up next, they did not hesitate to take on these extra projects so my place was complete.
I am very happy with the quality of the work. The main bathroom looks great... I wish it was in my house! They returned a few times to make sure the paint was even throughout, and saw more touch-ups than I did. The job was completed within the timeline and budget we agreed to, despite having to work around some of my previous tenant's stuff.
The total scope of the job: full renovation of main bathroom, update to powder room, laminate floor and carpet installation, complete interior painting, light fixture replacement and a bunch of other small jobs.
I definitely recommend R&M for any home renovations.

Two weeks ago I hired this guy's to do renovation on second floor in my house ( 3 bedrooms, 2 washrooms ). Thous guys so quick and quality on high level. I'm glad that I found this company.

We hired R&M to renovate 2 bedrooms in our home and had a very disappointing experience. For starters, Slava underquoted the cost and timing so we ended up paying 20% more and it took twice as long, even though the scope of the project never changed (the other contractors that quoted had included the "missing items" in their quotes). His crew also left our home very messy, they did not take precautions to keep the dirt contained during the demo (we requested this before they started) so that even the rooms on a different floor were covered in thick dust and left us unable to stay in our home. Despite this, the most disappointing part was that the quality of the work was very poor. The closets they built for us are undersized (the openings are non-standard and do not fit the doors we provided). The ceiling is uneven, the walls they built are not square, and the floors are not level. Overall his crew was very slow, made constant mistakes, and had to be reminded 3 or 4 times of what needed to be done (we had to stay home from work to keep reminding them). Slava also kept trying to convince us to cut corners to get the job done quicker, saying things like "you don't need window casings". This was not our first time renovating, we have renovated nearly every room in our home and hired many contractors and this was our worst experience by far. If only we could go back and pick a more capable contractor...

Edit: Response to R&M Comments:
1. Quoted time was 1 week but the job took 9 days and still didn’t include the hardwood installation or baseboards or closet doors. Therefore there is no exaggeration in saying “twice” as long
2. When you came to quote the job, we said we wanted to “gut everything, rebuild from scratch” so I am not sure why you assumed the old floor could stay. The other 2 contractors that quoted clearly stated on their written quote “new subfloor”. Nevertheless, we split the cost with you anyway
3. You mentioned in your response that we had no framing and you had to build it, but then you say you could not make the walls square with “existing framing”. Which is it? If all of the exterior walls and closet walls were built from scratch, why couldn’t they be built to proper size and perpendicularity?
4. The finished opening widths for the closets are 47.5” for one and 47” for the other. The closet doors are 24” each and need an extra ½” in clearance. This math simply does not add up. If you don’t believe me then please come measure yourself
5. I did not realize that we had to specifically and explicitly request that the quality level of the work be adequate and not poor. You should mention this when you provide quotes for jobs
6. Finally, insulting our home and insulting me for being pregnant do not provide any basis for your arguments. All of the statements in my review are easily verifiable either visually or by using a measuring tape

I received Slavas name from a contact at my bank and she was so delighted with their work. I called up Slava and we made an appointment- he was 5 minutes early and gave me a price the next morning it was very resaonable. They started when I wanted them to and completed the job within 3 weeks it was a full tear down reno for each bathroom and it is wonderful and a very professional job ! Very highly recomended !

Renovation was done in my master bedroom bathroom. It was very important for the contractor to get it done quick and keep the rest of the house clean. Contractor did a great job, very punctual, kept house clean and work completed looked great as well as project was completed within budget agreed prior. Did not cut corners and did not increase price half way through the project.
I wish all contractors would follow same principles as these guys.

Slava and his team did a fantastic job in demolishing and renovating two bathrooms over a ten day period. The work was done on time and within budget. Despite a few unexpected plumbing and structural issues, Slava came up with creative solutions and made every effort to stick to the original plans. He made requested adjustments without complaint and his positive attitude and client focus was very much appreciated. I was so happy with their work that I asked Slava and his partner, Emil, to complete a number of other projects including installation of a new living room floor, significant drywall repairs and house painting. They went so far as to hang a large mirror that was salavaged from one of the bathrooms and build a frame around it. It is a stunning addition to my townhome. I’m sure I will be working with Slava and his team on future home renovations.
