We hired Vala Home Improvements to renovate our kitchen, powder room and front hall. Richard has excellent engagement skills, a mind for meticulous detail and clear planning. We can't recommend him highly enough. We have never worked with a general contractor before, but are excited to work with Vala Home Improvements again. It was a positive experience from start to finish. If ever a problem arose, Richard attended to it right away and resolution was achieved as quickly as possible. Also, there was great attention paid to preparing our home for the reno and cleaning-up every day after work was completed. We always felt included, respected and on top of the process. Richard has a shrewd mind for detail, common sense, and professionalism. We knew what payments were necessary, when they were due, and which professional workers were coming to our home.
