Negligent and Irresponsible

We hired Tav pools to close our pool in 2016. Upon opening our pool we discovered several issues that resulted from the pool being closed incorrectly. When we contacted Tav pools the owner was dismissive, argumentative, and blamed us. Since Tav would not except any responsibility for his negligence and wrongdoing, we were forced to seek legal advice. We are fortunate that we retained all of our receipts from day #1 (inspection and closing). I highly recommend that everyone avoid this pool store!!

In the fall of 2016 this customer booked a pool inspection for their pool, then immediately canceled it. We have no prior history with this customer or with their pool so this type of action rises suspicion on our part. We close all pools with plugs and equipment supplied by customers which is common practice with all pool closings. This customer called us Saturday April 15/17 around 3pm. (after opening their own pool) to tell us that one of the plugs had fallen out of their jets into the pool which could very well have happened. The plug would not have fallen into the pool until spring thaw time which would make the plug shrink and fall out (also common). As far as the customer saying Tav was being rude and aggressive, that is not true. Tav had to tell this customer and their father who kept yelling in the background to calm down. Tav instructed them to get the equipment hooked up and everything running and give us a call. We have not heard from them until this review which brings us back to the question of why a pool inspection was ordered and then canceled and then a pool closing ordered. It would take a day or so to hook up equipment, bring water level up, run system for a day or so, to determine water loss. This review was done Saturday, the same day the customer called the store. Luckily for Tav Pools and Water Kingdom, our staff keep all our work very well documented.
