Grand River Moving

I cannot recommend Grand Valley moving based on the experience we had.
I'd suggest taking a strong look at all suppliers before deciding on which mover to use which should include prior references.
Examples such as we were asked if the movers could start at 6:00am, we agreed, purchased coffee, donuts and water for them - they finally arrived (after many phone calls) at 3:00pm - one of the many challenges we faced with Grand Valley,
Also they appeared with more people than originally contracted and with the increased costs.

We hired Grand River Moving to move my mother in law. These guys showed up more than 2 hours late. The "crew" they sent out looked less then professional. One guy had a broken hand and couldn't even move anything.
They dragged their feet all day and seemed exhausted very early on.
We even caught one guy sleeping in the basement!
The move didn't finish until 2AM (long after I left) and they demanded an additional $1500 or they were not going to leave. This is such a horrible case of elder abuse.
They damaged walls at both the old residence and the new and left dirty/greasy hand prints all over the white furniture.
DO NOT hire these guys. Use Homestars to choose a better company.
