do not give money unless you sign for it or you will not get it back even though you did not sign a contract. you got to pay to get a quote and if you are not satisfied you lose you money

We are sorry that you were not happy for the services that we provided. We never charge for quotes. In this case we were retained to act as a general contractor which included us paying monies out of our pocket on your behalf. When your situation changed it was unfortunate but the fact remains that the $2k you gave us was spent doing what you asked us to do.
