Sam was great and very easy for us to work with both over text, phone and in person - he answered a lot of our questions and helped us understand options for our basement carpet which took into account our specific needs for uneven floors and breathability. He was knowledgeable, provided options and we were able to move ahead quickly from there. He supplied both the carpet and the padding which saved us from having to source it, and it was installed quickly and professionally. We are very happy with the result and would recommend.

My mother had a few problem areas in her home that were badly in need of repair. We had Sam come out and survey the work to be done, provide us with options and then a quote. We agreed to go ahead and could not have been happier with the results! Sam is attentive, respectful, considerate and professional. Safeway Flooring replaced the flooring in one of our rental units in downtown Toronto. Sam and his crew were fast and competitive. Sam never attempted to over sell the job that was needed.

I recently went online to look for a company to replace 560 square feet of flooring in the second floor of my condominium unit. There was some urgency as I had received approval for the work from the condominium Board and was placed in a queue. Because many residents are working from home, only one renovation is allowed at a time in order to keep noise to a minimum. I was impressed by the reviews of Safeway Carpet and Flooring and so contacted them. Within hours, I heard back from Sam. He came to my unit once to discuss the job and take measurements. He returned a second time to check on the measurements and provide a cost. He was available to perform the work the following week. I was very impressed with his product knowledge and recommendations based on his experience. In two days he and his co-worker removed the old flooring, installed vinyl over an acoustic pad, and installed mouldings and transition strips. Their work is extremely neat and accurate. The floors look perfect. I plan to have the company replace carpeting on the stairway and the flooring on the main floor. I have no reservations about wholeheartedly recommending this company.
