New home but unhappy with lighting

i bought a house and discovered how poor the lighting in the house was. Andrew came over within the first two days to give me ideas on how to change up the lighting so I could see better, put up lighting in the bedrooms and even braced the lights should I want to change them out to ceiling fans down the road (didnt know that was a thing !!) and explained everything he was doing.
