Dishwasher defunct. Bought new. Might have had back for install but service was not going to be suhtracted. Bought from Tasco so will get them to do the installation of dishwasher. Also have been waiting for receipt and diagnostic estimate for over a week

Referring back to our records from the virtual call that you booked with us in regards to the lights flashing on your dishwasher front panel, our technician provided you with a diagnosis stating that the front panel will be required to solve the issue.

Due to the uncertain nature of the issue, our technician composed an email with links to numerous articles that discuss the same issue that pertains to your dishwasher brand and model, and its solution. As well, further information was provided on how to reset the error codes (if applicable), and contact to an appliance part vendor that would be able to source the part for you and provide cost and availability information.

We have not received any requests for part or appliance installation quotes, and are therefore unaware of any prices that were provided to you. It looks like our team was able to effectively diagnose and advise you not to spend your money on the repair and we would always advise to get the installation with the store that you purchase with as they usually do takeaways and it becomes cheaper in the bundle.

Fantastic Service - Broken Washer

Alex was able to diagnose the issue over a video call. The washing machine needed to be replaced. Saved us a lot of money and time on further repairs. Gave me confidence on how best to remedy the situation. Was very friendly, trustworthy and helpful. Also made recommendations to help with purchasing a new unit. All at no cost. Thanks so much for all your help Alex. I'll definitely reach out to you again when my next appliance fails (hopefully not too soon).

Helped me fix my stove

Top-tier work by the guys. We had a leak issue with a basement sink at our office - requested an online quote via Zoom (due to COVID-19), they were friendly, communicative and were able to setup an appointment within two business days. The day of the repair, they were on-time, super-friendly, detailed in their communications and resolved the issue with high quality work, on-time, and on budget. Top-tier, would recommend to anyone!

Kitchenaid Fridge Diagnosis by video chat

My Kitchenaid freezer had been warming up periodically so booked a video call with Alex. He walked me through all the possible causes and implications and explained everything very clearly. He did this call for no charge. Through the discussion it was clear he seeks to explore low cost solutions before jumping to replace any and everything possible. I will definitely use him when I need a repair or when I need advice on replacing my appliance.

Dryer Issue Remotely solved

Our dryer lost all power once time when trying to use it
We setup an appt with them through Homestars. Booking an appt was easy.
Using google meet. Igor was able to assist us in troubleshooting the issue and discovered the issue with the computer board.
He then sent us a reference link to where to buy the part and how to replace it.
Replaced the board and everything worked again.
Great service and clear communication.
Would definitely go to them again for future repairs and recommend them to others.

Problem with dyer machine

The dryer machine works but there were no heat. Contacted Man with a wrench after viewed some reviews and their response was fast. They provided a free call service to make a diagnose after that they suggest that the tech needed to come. The tech was knowledgeable. Good service. You do not pay for the diagnosis if they do the repare.

Leaking fridge

My fridge had been leaking for a week and I could not find the source. I’m looking for an appliance repair person on Homestars I found Man with a Wrench. Other than the high star rating what impressed me was that they were dealing with covid 19 by doing zoom appointments to diagnose issues. What a great idea! I made an appointment for the next day and had a detailed discussion with Alex who had spent 45 minutes looking at the manual for my brand and model of fridge. It turned out that my appliance had a blockage so I opted to have their representative come the next day. He was quick and importantly wore a mask and gloves. My fridge has been perfect!

I needed some advice on a possible sewer back-up and the company offered a very convenient virtual assistance option. Setting up an appointment was smooth and the person I spoke with (although not the actual plumbing expert) was knowledgeable to address my questions/concerns.
