Niall and his young assistant Adam were prompt and very professional in completing the chimney removal project at my Beaches home. He is great at communicating (provides such a prompt reply and is patient to explain the work process if you have any questions), keeping the promise regarding the job date (very reliable), and keeping the price at the more reasonable than his competitors (fair).
As many reviewers have said, the workmanship is great and his team pays a great attention to details. He took photos and shared with me too. The chimney was not used by both myself and my neighbor and it was logical for us just to remove to prevent future hassle (some areas were deteriorating and chipping). Prep. and cleaning take as much as time as the job itself if not more. (i.e. scafolding) The removal was done in a couple of hours. Including the prep and the clean-up, it is a day job. Just one note for those who love their flower bed, and edible gardens near the job site. Cover them *completely* to protect during the very dusty stone and brick cutting work. Contractors (I have had 4 different contractors this season for house reno. for egress window cutting and chimney removal) do not know the debris and dust of the cement/brick falling from the cutting site and roof actually ruin your flowers and plants. They all got weak and dying. Other than that you will get a clean and professional job that neighbors complement if you work with Nialle and his team. Highly recommend

A chimney for a fireplace recently converted to gas had spalling, cracking and needed a new cap. To keep it matching the other chimneys, it needed corbelling and also brick that matched the type used in the other chimneys.

Niall did a great job with a beautiful result. He was very easy to work with, efficient, and extremely skilled.

Many thanks to Naill and his assistant Adam for doing a very good job repairing our chimney at our home in East York, Toronto. They replaced the two flues and capped the chimney so no water or animals can get in. Although it was quite expensive for the amount of time it took them to complete the work, they were very thorough and tidied up completely, and I highly recommend Naill because of his swift response, knowledge and professionalism.

Edited: I would like to add a few things because after about three years since Niall came to repair my chimney, there are problems. First problem, about six months ago I noticed that a raccoon had entered my chimney. I called Niall and told him that it shouldnt have happened if he had repaired the chimney properly. He got angry and hugged up the phone. The second problem was, a few days ago, the wind blew away the cap of the chimney and I found it on the ground.
Now I realized that he had done a sloppy job. I rate his work 1 out of 10 and I dont recommend him to anybody.

Niall is very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job rebuilding my chimney and tuck pointing where needed. I am still in awe how he was able to clean the brick in front of house. I don't know how he was able to remove the black substance and concrete left by the water-proofing contractor. It must have taken hours. Last year when I had someone lay pavers in front of house I asked about removing this and was told it was impossible. When Niall was leaving he went over with me what was done and asked if I was happy with the work. I am indeed happy.

I did my homework and obtained 3 quotes; Nf was the least expensive but that's rarely the reason I select a contractor. From my first conversation with Niall, I felt I was in good hands. I received a quote, my concerns and questions were answered quickly and the work was done in the time frame promised. Niall took the time to bring some brick samples to ensure he had the right colour the day before the work was scheduled to be done. He arrived, the work was complete on time and it was done beautifully! Thanks to you and your team Niall!

We were getting our roof done and the roofer said our chimney was in bad shape and needed to be rebuilt. We asked for quotes and NF Masonry came and met with us personally and explained the scope of the job, cost, etc. Niall came on time the day of the work was to be done and I have to say we were thrilled with the job he did. He and crew were efficient and finished the job very quickly, cleaned up the area and left. Although we didn't go on the roof to see the job, our roofer said that whoever did it did an amazing job and he asked us to give him Niall's number to refer him to other customers who needed their chimney done. This is a large 30ft high chimney with 3-6X12 clay liners that was built on the front of the house for aesthetic purposes only. Top 3ft had begun spalling and the cap deteriorating. Niall's bid was very competitive and received in a timely manner. Tear down, re-build and clean-up was well planned and performed expeditiously over a 2 day period. Project was a bit complicated in that a large veranda necessitated dual stage scaffolding. Many thanks for a very professional job...neighbours have already complimented me on the work.

Niall and his crew were courteous, very professional and did a good job building the chimney. They arrived promptly at 8 am and were done by mid afternoon.
