Hired another paint service to paint stair risers and stringers - their work was horrible, left gaps, paint on the treads, sloppy overpaint and spots where no paint. They did the same to two rooms they painted. A little concerned about hiring more painters, took a chance and brought in a few companies for quotes for two bathrooms and to fix the staircase paint work. One bathroom had degree of moisture damage to drywall ceiling tape and needed work after years of kids using it as main bath. Unimpressed with couple of companies - simply said they dont fix other peoples sloppy work in reference to the stairs. Then came in Andy from Emerald. He looked at the two bathrooms with us, looked at the stairs and listened carefully to our concerns and what we wanted to see. He made some recommendations, explained the process to be used to correct and improve the stair case, he was detailed and gave us a high degree of confidence in the approach, professionalism and competence of the painters.
The project manager came with two painters, reviewed the work to be done, ensured everything was as we had requested. The two painters did a wonderful job - the stairs required a lot of work to correct - and the outcome is a pristine paint job with precise lines that significantly added to the presentation of the front area of the house. The work in the bathrooms was meticulous. Crisp lines, no visible signs of the repair work (scraping, fixing holes and wall imperfections, stripping and taping ceiling joints etc) - the paint is beautiful - they recommended Benjamin Moore Aura Bath and Spa and it looks wonderful. The project manager followed up with us at the conclusion of the work as did Andy to ensure we are satisfied with the work done. I note that the painters left the house clean and tidy, no debris/drywall dust despite the amount of work that had been done. From the outset Emerald gave me the confidence to believe in their company after such a negative experience with another company. I would recommend Emerald without hesitation.
