We had decided to completely renovate our kitchen, which would involve flooring, lighting , appliances, lighting and cabinetry.
With so many renovation items to address, a visit to Improve Canada was decided to be a great start as the centre has all the required products for our renovation, under on roof.
It was on our visit that we came across the Focus Cabinetry storefront in the Improve Canada centre, which was staffed by James Banh.
We were drawn in by the beautiful sample kitchen cabinetry display and look, as it was what we were envisioning for pending renovation.
The kitchen renovation cabinetry requirements along with our wish list was discussed with James. After showing us the products and features of the displayed models and answering all of our questions satisfactorily, he promptly scheduled a meeting to be held at our home so he could view the site, take some measurements, plus get our ideas and basic requirement.
Within a week he scheduled a follow up meeting. From this one meeting, James had created several awesome 3d views of our future kitchen.
He had incorporated our basic needs and created a kitchen layout using the input of the what our future appliances would be, the need to maximize the storage space and give us a very modern looking kitchen but also adhering to our budget.
With one minor change to his initial plan, adding another set of drawers instead of a desk, we had agreed on a final plan, and to move ahead with the build.
A delivery and installation date was set for Focus which was agreeable, however I had to delay this date several times due to other contractor delays with respect to plumbing, electrical, etc.
Focus was always so professional and accommodated my schedule changes.
When the Focus cabinets arrived for installation, the installers were great. They completed the job in the specified 2 days.
The final product plus installation is absolutely awesome. I can not say enough about James and his crew at Focus.
He always followed up promptly on phone calls, emails or text messages, in a professional but customer friendly way.
At the end of the process I can honestly call him a friend.
Matter of fact, as we continue the renovations, such as bathroom, laundry room and bedroom, I will be calling on Focus for all my cabinet/design requirements.
