Hydro Meter Shorted out and fried.
Came home to find Bell had accidentally cut a main trunk. Whole street was out. After Hydro fixed, whole street was back, but we were still out.
Many hours later, finally got Hydro to come back to check. Apparently something shorted on the meter box, the whole meter blew right off the box, looked like a charcoal briquette. Hydro guys took the fried meter and basically told me, you're on your own. I needed to repair the electrical box first before they would come back to install a new meter. I HAVE NO ELECTRICITY!!!
Next morning, I searched and found H Man Electric. Spoke with Hooman. Very courteous. He was able to come that day and make repairs. Hooman was prompt but he was still at the mercy of the Hydro guys who had to come and shut off the main power from the street. Hooman got the job done and coordinated the ESA certification. Later that night, the Hydro guys finally showed up and got us up and running.
In a situations like this, I've been raked over the coals before by many repair guys because you NEEDED them.
Hooman did great work and charged us a fair price. Very impressed, Highly recommend.
