Maritime Construction recently installed a new railing on my front porch and stairs. The porch spans across the entire front of the house and I wanted a simple yet elegant railing to complement it.
Chris understood exactly what design I was looking for and helped me find the perfect railing.
He installed the railing as scheduled in a timely manner. Chris is courteous, professional and pays great attention to detail.

We met Chris at Maritime Construction last fall. We asked him to quote removal of our existing deck and build a new 18 ft. by 16 ft. cedar deck. We discussed with Chris, what we wanted to do and asked for his inputs. Chris gave us several good suggestions. We then signed a contract and the project was scheduled to start early November. The project started on time even though the weather was not great.
As the project progressed, Chris worked with us when we wanted to make a few changes. The project was finished by mid -December. We highly recommend Maritime Construction as they have a great work ethic and take pride in their work.

We knew this was a big project for us cost-wise. Chris was excellent to work with from start of the project to the very end. He walked us thru the process so we would fully understand and set expectations. He was 100% working within our budget and kept us posted along the way, many times without us even asking. Such exceptional work...attention to detail was great...creative/resourceful problem solver....easy to discuss changes with...honest...kept lines of communication open...went over and beyond our expectations. THANK YOU CHRIS FOR MAKING THIS SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR US!! Oh, and basement looks amazing too! We will definitely call him for any other projects that need a professional. You will be hard pressed to find a more professional & honest contractor (just a great guy overall) for your home reno or projects.

Maritime removed existing concrete stairs that were falling apart. They did a great job repouring concrete and creating a wonderful new entrance.
The job was done quickly and everything was built to code standards.
They creatively fixed a difficult section.
Everything looks great.
Nice people.

Maritime has just completed our retaining wall and fence, and we are very happy with the results. The attention to detail and building exactly what we wanted was unmatched. A huge shoutout to Chris the owner, James and rest of the crews - highly recommend this company to anyone who has a construction project to be done.

SHED: They replaced our shed roof, rotted fascia and other rotted boards. Installed new door.
DECK: They removed old, worn deck boards, railing components, and boards along stairs and installed new wood.
They installed joist hangers to floor joists to properly secure structure.

Cost includes materials, labour, HST.

Chris and co. did an excellent job of removing an old section of fence and building a new one (including a large custom gate). Knowledgeable, efficient and completed the job well within the time frame and cost quoted. Very pleased - would happily recommend them.

Very good work done in late fall to repair my deck. Good communication and friendly manner. It would have been nice to get it stained too. If it was too late in year for that. Very satisfied overall,
